Linguini Milano

3 tbs. butter
¼ cup chopped onion
1 garlic clove, minced
2 tbs. flour
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 ¾ cup milk
2 cups shredded Canadian mozzarella cheese
¼ cup grated Canadian parmesan cheese
1 cup slivered cooked ham
1 cup frozen peas, thawed
salt and pepper
8 oz linguini

Directions:
In a medium saucepan, melt butter. Sauté the onions and garlic until tender. Blend in flour and Italian seasoning. Gradually stir in milk. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture boils and thickens. Remove from heat.
Add mozzarella and parmesan cheeses and stir until cheeses are melted.
Stir in ham and peas. Add salt and pepper to taste. Keep warm.
In a large saucepan, cook linguini according to package directions; drain.
Pour sauce over linguini. Toss well to coat and serve.
