:cry: Good bye Mr. Brown Say what people may about some of his personal ummm, problems... he will be surely missed. The hardest working man in showbiz is on his final coffee break.

Seems he went fast, Friday he was doing a toy drive (the video from Fri. of him showed him looking better then I have seen him in years), Saturday he was admitted to the hospital for pnemonea (however the hell you spell it) and early Christmas morning he was gone. :na: Called back home.

Years ago, when I first met my wife, she was working as a newscaster at a small AM radio station...
I remember one of the DJs there would always start his shift, which was 9Pm to 1am with the first ten seconds or so of Brown's..."OWWWWW!... I feeeel good!..... knew that I would now!...." :dance:

James Brown was definitely a soul pioneer & in my book, was very cool. Many artists that followed him adapted some form of his style into their own.
