Lemon Glazed Pound Cake
2 cups flour
1¼ tsp. Baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 cups sugar
1 cup vegetable shortening
6 eggs
½ tsp. Lemon extract
Directions:
Mix together flour, baking powder, and salt, set aside cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs and flour mixture, add lemon extract and beat. Pour into a tube pan Bake at 350°F for 1 hour and 15 min.
Glaze:
1 lemon juiced
2 cups powdered sugar
Directions:
Mix lemon juice and powdered sugar. Beat until smooth Pour over cake.
