Date: 11 Dec 2006 8:18 am
Folks---We are still hanging in there. My wife had her 4th Chemo treatment this past Tuesday. She has had problems this past Friday and Saturday---still eating good, sleeping good, working around the house. We are changing our Chemo treatment Doctor---got the paperwork done this past Friday---go see him for a consultation appointment today. We had been going to Alexandria, La. for treatments (75-80 miles) and the trip there and back plus the 5- 6 hours per treatment were killing her. Our new Doctor is in Natchez, Miss.---only about 20 miles from our home. Beth gets down occasionally and starts that old "I don,t believe I am going to make it outlook"----then she comes out of it. We both have great faith in the almighty GOD assisting the Doctors and the medicine. Keep praying for us and may the GOD in Heaven give us strength to go thru this sickness. We love all of you and may God bless each of you, not just today, but always---Your friend Will

Will,
Thank you for the update my friend. I am sorry to hear that Beth is having a tough time, unfortunately we know that is a side effect of the treatment most all the time. I am encouraged by how well you say she has been doing. You, Beth and your whole family are in my prayers. The Lord will bring you through this, I just know it.

Thanks for the update, glad to hear that she is hanging in there and that you found a closer place for treatment. I'll continue to add my prayers to all the others. And keep up the optomistic effort. Positive thinking plus prayer does work.

Everybody goes through times that they think they won't make it whether they be ill or not. The main thing is that she snaps out of it and keeps on plugging away one day at a time. It's a good deal that you've found some place closer for her treatments. The travelling can take a lot out of a healthy person, much less one that has just under gone chemo. We'll keep you in our prayers.

Chemo is so draining on one's energy.
Will, please continue to encourage her to keep her faith and her spirits up. She will beat this.

Ive never heard of you before as I am so new to this forum. I do fell for ya though as my dad 12 years ago underwent kemo. I watched him through the process and i know what it is to see. We were lucky as he is still with us. God bless.

Again, thanks for the update.
I only hope for the best for you and yours.
Ironically, while "hanging out" here the other day, I got to thinking about you and wondered how all was going.
Know that we are all pulling for you!
So many of us have been exposed to this "adventure".
