Hi All ,
I am looking for a drawing for a 1986 Craftsman snowblower- 4/21.
I want to order everything at once to do a complete repair, and it is very frustrating to try to explain to someone that does not have a sniff.
I guess I should tell you it is model #C950.52474. thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Forum!

You are right on the edge of Sears still supporting the machine.

They have pretty good manuals with good exploded views.

After 10 years they "dont support" the machine anymore.

But if you have part numbers, they usually have it in stock, it's just your 11 year old model number they can't look up any more.

Have you tried calling Sears and ordering the owners manual?

Tried to get the owners manual through sears. That is why I tried posting and hoping that someone had a copy to email it to me. I was looking at the friction disk and it has "ARIENS" stamped in the rubber. Does this help? I tried ARIENS website, but I need there model number. If any body has a manual for either of these, can you pease send a copy of the parts breakdown to me. Thanks

Welcome Darryl! :D

I'm assuming that at some point in time your friction disk was replaced with the Ariens part because its identical to the original one. There might even be a part number on the wheel!

Sorry but I cannot help with the manual. I did some searching @ Sears Canada & came up empty...

Ariens part # 3003 friction wheel
Murray part #780086 called a friction wheel conversion kit

I've also tried to find the manual but came up empty. So I figured a couple of part numbers should help you out. They are also readily available in the aftermarket.

I just went through the archived micro fiche and came up with an IPL of your blower. The card is Murray #4 (year card was updated '89), brown header, section D9-E6. Now if some one could tell me how to get a micro fiche card onto the computer and still have it legible, at least you would have an IPL.

You could probably take the micro fiche card to your local library and explain what you want to do. They could give you a hand.

See what happens.
