I've been using the plow bade a lot every winter for as long as I can remember. Those real light, not much accumlation snows need to be cleared or they ice up. Treick is doing it in the morning, if you do it to late in the day the water wont evaperate and the driveway will have a nice thing coat of ice all over it. (thats when I used to used my spreader with rock salt in it but that broke on me because its plastic wasn't designed for the cold and I tipped it over and it cracked).
Works much like these:

and creates little EODs, I then push (or you can go backwards and pull the snow like the snow plow pickups) all the snow to the end of the driveway usually, then I usually just for fun fire up the single stage (or ok Ihave used the ariens) and blow the snow up and away instead of leaving big piles next to my driveway (well unless the town plow has come threw).

Since its on wheels it gives you great leverage and less back pain, its basically the feeling of "mowing" your driveway.
I have thought of buying a scraper blade or fabricating something myself to prevent the blade from getting smaller and smaller every year but I've been lazy about it.
Works great for sidewalks, go down the middle, come back to widen the one side, down the other side again much like how the plows do the wider roads :) As I kid I used to pretend that I was a snow plow :P Now a days I don't make the truck sounds when I'm using it :) Althought if you don't know where the bumps and twisted sidewalk pieces are you get a nasty jolt into the stomach or belt line....unless your taller than me in which you get a nasty jingle bell ringer if you catch my drift.

The "unknown" would be great to finish off mine.
Take care of the odds and ends left behinds after all the blowing is done with.
Just haven't seen them around here anywhere.
I thought I remember seeing one in a magazine somewhere, in the recent past.

yeah I've mentioned before I found it tucked away in my Great Uncles basement long ago (over 10 years ago actually, I'm 18, almost 19, and I wasn't even in school when I found it so yeah long ago :P) It has no markings on it, looks like it has electrical "fishing" chain that lets you pull up the blade, maybe an old lawnmower handle. I still wonder if it was bought or created by someone in their workshop :) Great Uncle was a good handy man.
I saw a plastic version at home depot once that had one wheel inline with a shovel handle but that looked awkward to use.

yes I remember seeing the shovel with the wheel at HD.. that was suppose to be a back saver.

hmmm that is interesting, if you look how the one I have designed is 2 wheels and piece between them, then the handle on that, that one looks to rigid like it would be hard to sometimes keep the blade down, know what I'm saying?
Anyway maybe I'll try to make some and sell them :P

I wonder how good that one on ebay would work? The guy should put some action pics in that auction.

kinda neat BUT that one doesn't angle the snow one way or another so you be stuck with 2 streams coming off each side :) That one is closer to what mine looks like though :)

I get 2 warnings for the white dog's "Snow Blade" site. Mainly to do with phony certificates.
My security software is going nuts.
JUST only from whitdog's first link if you go to "purchase".
The second "Snow pusher" link in the last post is valid. Question is...is the first one a counterfeit?
