A friend of mine recently came across an older snowblower. Here's his description:

Came across an interesting machine today.

It was gray and purple, and has the old style purple Arctic decals,

But it doesn't say Arctic Cat on it anywhere, but it has purple emblems, and they look like this book cover.

I'm certain this is an older early 1970's model, made by a popular maker & re-badged by Arctic Enterprises. I can't find anything online, or in my books. It has no auger safety switches on the handles, so its older then a 1978.

Any idea what brand chassis I can cross reference this to to get a rubber drive wheel for it ?

It appears to be well built. Not like a cheap Montgomery Wards or anything like that.

Any Ideas as to what it could be and were parts can be found?

Thanks in advance.

I'm sure Pete (Spectrum) will take issue with that statement!
A Montgomery Wards machine is actually made by Gilson, and they are a heavy duty, STRONG machine!

I'm wondering if your friends machine is a rebadged Lambert or Atlas machine. Can you get a pic & post it?
