Lookie at the what someone threw out! I had the Air cleaner off to shoot some Starting Fluid up the pipe. It ran with some help of the Starting Fluid, but the carb needs to be cleaned out. The Compression doesn't feel exactly great, but it seemed to run ok for about 15 - 20 second bursts.
It's seen some useage! Look at the drive wheels

PJ,
WOW :P :P what a find, that looks like what I found in a Walmart , Dumpster over the summer, except it was a craftsman, that was worn out and a carb cleaning and new plug , it still running. A little hit , look at the dumpsters at any Walmart , Bj's Wholesale club they toss the good stuff , that might be slighty damaged :D

It's really ugly, The rear wheels are worn down brutal. It has a tag from my local snapper dealer on it. I know that this was good money my guess $250 - $300. It's a Flat Head Briggs so i'm guessing it's at least 5 years old. I think snapper only uses Intek OHV engines anymore on these mowers.

The drive mech is unique, Kind of like the one scotts mower I found, but with some extra parts. The scotts ended up getting a knock in the motor. I didn't know the tarp I was covering it was ripped and the block had gotten water in it. It ran but it knocked, it wasn't hells bells, but still a knock of death. Opps..

That's why this one is in the garage Until I make a cover for it

since your so good at restoring these old OPE things, can you help get some rear wheels for my toro? The drive wheels on mine are really worn to nearly smooth, I thought I could rotate the fronts to the rear but the rears have gears on them that don't seem to come off (didn't pull exaclty hard since if I did break them I wouldn't be able to cut the lawn till I found wheels for an 85 toro).

What are some of your sources for this stuff? I was gonna try a bunch of toro dealers around the area and see what the come up with.

A 1966 Harley Davidson 350 Sprint H (Highway Model) It's my Brother's. It's too small for my fat ass. I need something fat boy or a heritage sized for me.
Under the blankets is the engine for his truck. Another one of his forgotten projects.

HG-K It's actually Italian Aermacchi Made them to Harley's Specs. Before the AMF Merger/Takeover.

It almost had the look of a British bike with the accordian gaiters and the full drum hub. The brushed aluminum lower forks didnt quite fit in. :?
Oh, well. If your brother gets around too pushing it out the curb, let me know :)
(But then again the words, "My old lady would kill me", seem too pop into my head.)

Tonight I found a String Trimmer Head. NEW from a www.trimmerplus.com trimmer. A website that doesn't exist..

Looks like a Weed Eater or Ryobi attachment. It was looks like it was never even installed. Still has protection tape on the line cutter blade. And the bump for the line isn't even scratched.

Looks just like the Ryobi trimmer attachment I have.

There's a few using the quick link , or what ever it's called, system that Ryobi came out with.. all compatible.

STIHL came out with there quick connect system, but it's different.

I finally got around to screwing with this snapper walk behind.

It wouldn't stay running so I tapped on the float bowl with the Butt of my ratchet and it smoothed out and ran great. However after warm up I was getting a heavy oil odor from the exhaust.

I changed the oil, and well the oil that came out....At least I think it was oil. Since when did crankcase oil have a green color??? Also it was about as thick as corn syrup. And it was about 60 out today so temperature wasn't a big factor in oil viscosity.

When I fired it back up with fresh oil it was a fog machine. Runs Great! Just smokes BAD! Would be great for killing the mosquitos in the summer! But the rings have had it. It can't handle a lot of load on the engine. If the mower was in a little nicer shape I'd buy a ring and gasket set for it.

The Green Oil still has me wondering... Bars No Smoke isn't even green.

Here a video of it running. I took it with my phone (Razr) so the quality is yucky.

Do I not have a right plugin or something? All I get on media player is sound, no video.

It works on WMP11. Weird, maybe your codec file is corrupted? or a missing codec?
