These are available at Costco & Sam's club for under $300. They feature a sweet running Honda 5hp engine, easy connect hoses & wand assembly, 2400 psi cleaning @ 2.5 GPM.
Heres the problem - the unloader valve WILL stick eventually. Its WELL documented if you search "Karcher K2400 Unloader Valve".
Good news is that its an easy fix that takes about 10 minutes. All you need is a Torx T30 bit & a flat blade screwdriver. Remove the silver button that sits atop a black, circular plastic cap. Remove the cap & you will see the two T30 Torx screws - remove them. Take off the milky clear cover & pay attention how the thermal valve/spring assembly goes. Now hook up your hose to the unit & turn on the water. This should force out the unloader valve. If not, start the engine & let it run for a few seconds, then I guarantee the unloader will SHOOT out. Put a liberal amount of white lithium grease on the O-rings on the unloader valve, AND also smear some in the bore where it sits in the pump. Reassemble it. DONE!
If you can deal with the valve sticking from time to time, then I recommend this unit. That circular cleaning tip really makes fast work of doing patios or sidewalks - MUCH faster than my Sears unit with a standard cleaning tip. It WILL save you time!

Thanks for the review, quick question you remark it's quick in cleaning with the circular tip, I just got the new version of this and they upped the horsepower and rating but no circular tip. I ordered one from online, think it's a worthwhile upgrade for the karchers?
