Hi there

When me and my wife bought our house back in 1987 the former owners left a Belos tractor in the garage.
It has been in the garage since 1987,and i talked to our neighbors and they told me that the former houseowner used it to mowe grass and snow.
I was thinking about bring it back to using order, but were can i find info/manuals/spareparts for an old Belos Gravely IL 222?
Btw its an German two stroke engine on it,dont know why an US made machine would have an German engine like ILO.

Ehhh sorry Kris

But it looks execly like this one with the square tank and recoil starter:

Btw is it hard to find parts for that kind of machine if i need some, gonna take care of my old blower first, then if i get some sparetime i will look into the Belos machine.

HG- It looks like the same machine. Getting Gravely parts here in the U.S. is fine Most are still availlable but getting them in Sweden I don't know and I don't know about Belos. Contact Per Johansson at his site I listed above. - Kris :)

I love international plans for snow removal! I can see secret meetings in coffee shops passing blueprints of auger design, PTO specifications, traction improvements. Beautiful women seducing engineers for 2007 model information, it's all so cool!

So are you interested in this? Or do you already have a snowblower attachment? It looks brand new. Are they really "snow cannons"??? :D :D

Dhark- Yes and no. I do not have a snowblower attachment for my Gravelys. One day I probably will. I don't need one because I have an Ariens ST1236. That Gravely blower on e-bay is an Ariens made attachment and is known by the Gravely guys to not work well. It seems Ariens has the wrong gearing (it turns to slow) and the blower doesn't work/ throw as far as it should. The people I know that have that style are not happy, probably why that one is on e-bay. The Gravely snowblower attachment that is highly sort after which is called "the snowcannon" is the MA-210 which was the last blower that Gravely itself made. Let me see if I can dig up some pics. - Kris :)

Here is an MA-210 the "snowcannon" :

Here is a pic of my ST1236 (previous storm) :

This one from e-bay is considered to be undesirable:

There is an old saying, "Just cause it's new doesn't mean it's good."

MA-210 sounds like a cannon. Sounds like something from the infantry division :D And that does look like an Ariens attachment no doubt

Those gravelys are all in one machines, a nieghboor of mine had one, he was 87 and still used it, eventually he was wheel chair riden and had to get rid of it to prevent himself from using it while in a wheel chair or making a seat to follow it while he did his lawn, he is still going and is in his mid 90's at a good nursing home. Which I bought it from him but at thet time I was content with my equipment.

Since Ariens owns Gravely they were not trying to hide or redesign one for Gravely. - Kris :)

The seller is asking for 190$

That is a Gravely MA-211 Snowcannon and it's well worth $190. It is the quick hitch version of the MA-210 Snowcannon. - Kris :)
