A typical thread listing might be titled as WTS (Want To Sell) or WTB (Want To Buy), your state of residence and the product(s) or part(s). A more detailed description of the item(s) can be put in the body of your post.

Subject Examples:

WTS NY/LI Table Lamps

WTS N.NJ 1970 Chevy 350 Engine

WTB WI Antique Sewing Machine

Very IMPORTANT Suggestion....
Since you will not be able to edit your ad once it's placed you may want compose it first in a word processor on your computer. Think carefully about the price and description. If you need to make a change, per Rule #8, you will only be able to post a change by adding a reply to your topic/ad.

Rules:

1. All state and federal laws apply. It is your responsibility to comply with the laws.

2. Include your state of residence in the subject line AND in the body of your thread.

3. When your product is sold, post a reply to your thread stating that the product has been sold.

4. To those shopping here: please respect the seller's wishes. If the seller states that a product is for sale only in a given state or area, don't waste his/her time by offering to buy it if they'll ship it to you. If the seller states that he/she wants cash only, please don't waste their time by offering trades. If they want to trade for a product, they'll mention it.

5. Do not make disparaging comments on someone else's "For Sale" thread.

6. Please don't ask for thread to be deleted or changed, post a follow-up indicating the change.

7. If you have a question about our software, or if you have a "how to" question, please ask it in the Members' Forum Related Questions section.

8. Put a price next to every item you have for sale --not "best offer". If you wish to lower or raise the price, list the new price if there is one, do not edit your original post. If you're not sure what a given item is worth, there are a number of other ways to ask and get objective advice.

9. Financial dealing do not have to be done on this forum, PM's and private e-mails are suggested. Feel free to ask questions of the buyer or seller. Having pictures available for those requesting them is always a plus.

Thank you.
