Welcome to TBS&LF's classified ad forum.

This area is for posting personal "want to sell" & "want to buy" ads.

This area is for OPE Related items only.

TBS&LF (openonthenet.com) is not responsible for any transaction between parties and does not guarantee or warrant any products or parts listed by members.

A typical thread listing might be titled as WTS (Want To Sell) or WTB (Want To Buy), your state of residence and the product(s) or part(s). A more detailed description of the item(s) can be put in the body of your post.

Subject Examples:

WTS NY/LI B&S 5HP Carburetor

WTS N.NJ 1970 Snapper Mower, Tired engine

WTB WI Ride On Mower

Very IMPORTANT Suggestion....
Since you will not be able to edit your ad once it's placed you may want compose it first in a word processor on your computer. Think carefully about the price and description. If you need to make a change, per Rule #8, you will only be able to post a change by adding a reply to your topic/ad.

Rules:

1. All state and federal laws apply. It is your responsibility to comply with the laws.

2. Include your state of residence in the subject line AND in the body of your thread.

3. When your product is sold, post a reply to your thread stating that the product has been sold.

4. To those shopping here: please respect the seller's wishes. If the seller states that a product is for sale only in a given state or area, don't waste his/her time by offering to buy it if they'll ship it to you. If the seller states that he/she wants cash only, please don't waste their time by offering trades. If they want to trade for a product, they'll mention it.

5. Do not make disparaging comments on someone else's "For Sale" thread.

6. Please don't ask for thread to be deleted or changed, post a follow-up indicating the change.

7. If you have a question about our software, or if you have a "how to" question, please ask it in the Members' Forum Related Questions section.

8. Put a price next to every item you have for sale --not "best offer". If you wish to lower or raise the price, list the new price if there is one, do not edit your original post. If you're not sure what a given item is worth, there are a number of other ways to ask and get objective advice.

9. Financial dealing do not have to be done on this forum, PM's and private e-mails are suggested. Feel free to ask questions of the buyer or seller. Having pictures available for those requesting them is always a plus.

Thank you.

Good question, wish I had a good answer but I don't. You caught me on that one. Let me think about it and talk it over with the others and see what the consensus is. I'll let you know soon. Thanks.

Marshall

By the way, do have something in mind or were you just wondering? If so, PM me about it.

No...not really. I may in the future.
I have a lot of stuff in my basement that I hate to just throw away
and I vowed to myself that I'd clean it out this year.
New Years resolution, so to speak.

OTO,
Maybe we could just trade basements? I have been making trips to the dump and Salvation Army, but I hate getting rid of the stuff. If we traded we would both have new stuff and if we ever needed any of our good old junk we would know where to find it.

"I have a lot of stuff in my basement that I hate to just throw away

My basement was literally FULL of crappola. Evereything just seemed to end up down there. We vowed to clean it up last year and finally did it just before new year this year!. We threw out a pile of stuff about four feet high, three feet wide, and twenty feet long (actually two piles about ten feet long), packed tight. I was surprised when the trash guy took it all. We then donated a garagefull of other stuff to Purple Heart. Our basement is close to 2,000 square feet and other than a path, you couldn't see the floor.

Now it's neat, organized, and we're getting quotes to have it finished. Should have left it alone.
