Model No: C230
Manufacturer: Shindaiwa
A very good machine for the average home owner or someone that wants to do some light clearing. Light weight, comes with a shoulder strap, "bicycle" handle bars for better control while using a blade, will easily accept a trimmer head, full anti-vibration system, all position carburetor, has a solid steel main shaft with splined ends, and an aircraft grade aluminum outer tube.
We have sold a number of these machines and have yet to have anyone bring one back with a major complaint. The most popular beef is for a better shoulder strap, maybe one more like the harness style on the bigger machines, other then that we have heard things like - surprising power, balances nicely, doesn't hesitate to cut down trees/mow off grass.
Pros:
light weight
smooth power transfer
easy access stop switch
2 ring piston
can be used as brushcutter or grass trimmer
Cons:
shoulder strap
Date Purchased: demoed at work
Price Paid: $479.95 retail Canadian
