Official Announcement:
The government today announced that it is changing its emblem from a Maple Leaf to a CONDOM because it more accurately reflects the government's political stance. A condom allows for inflation, halts production, destroys the next generation, protects a bunch of pricks, and gives you a sense of security while you're actually being screwed.
Damn, it just doesn't get more accurate than that!

While you're at it, may I also suggest a new PM? As an unbiased observer from south of the border, may I nominate "Joe"...the spokesman in that Molson "I-AM-CANADIAN" ad from a few years back.

That still is one of the most enjoyable adverts I've ever seen.

Yup, I'll vote for him sooner than any of the clowns that are running now.

Nice one Sherri.
We have municipal elections January 9th, and no one is running against the pinko fascist who thinks consensus is everyone on council agreeing with his way; and then the federal elections on January 23rd, with a bunch of current crooks, wanna-be-crooks and Next Depression Party running. Oh joy, what choice.
Wish the Rhinocerous party was still in the election. At least they made sense, financing all their political promises with beer bottle refunds.

Hey...at least he didn't blame America for gun violence in Toronto...

Just before Christmas, an honest politician, a generous lawyer and Santa
Claus were riding in the elevator of a very posh hotel.
Just before the doors opened they all noticed a $20 bill lying on the floor.
Which one picked it up?
Santa of course, because the other two don't exist!

Now Sherri, I have to take exception with your statement about generous lawyers not existing.
Mine was very generous when it came to helping himself to my bank account. What it took me 6 months to save up, he billed me for in one week worth of "work".  If that isn't being generous, I don't know what is.

Well there are ways to stop a generous lawyer. One way is to put them on an island and make the island disappear and then rebuild the island, second way is to send them to the North Pole and Santa can put them to work in his toy factories for minimum wage. If that doesn't freeze the generousity out of them, nothing will.
