Certainly big enough for you to get lost in Bobby. I wish you the best there.
I was hoping that you could be the member you once were and for the record everyone else was hoping that you would also.
I appreciate you letting us know that you are leaving this time.
If you change your mind you are always welcome here and your "Bobby P" account will be waiting for you, that said so will our expectations also.
You and Johanne take care also Bob. I hope you have a great new year and not have too many visits with the mother-in-law in the next year.

Dear Bobby P,
I'm sorry to read that you have decided on leaving. You are quite knowledgeable on many areas of interest here and you brought much to the table.

I was surprised at this, and went back to read all of your recent posts as well as peoples responses to see if there was something I missed......I could not find anything so volitile as to prompt a person to anger.

I'm guessing there are missing pieces of the puzzle that I'm not privy to.

Anyway, I for one will be sad to see you go. I hope you reconsider. While I have not always agreed 100% with everyone here 100% of the time, I have found this forum more friendly and helpful then any other forum I have been a part of......and I do frequent a few of them.

I've also found that with forums, one cannot be too quick to get upset. Conversations here are not like face to face conversations, and it is easy to be misunderstood and to be taken the wrong way. A measure of grace is often needed.

In short, if we were face to face, I'd smile, slap you on the back and with a one armed hug/shake, say.."Come on bobby, lighten up and stick around"

I hope you do.

Respectfully,
Frank D.

Well said Frank.

As you Frank, I am not privy to the background.

But your post was so well put, I had to chime in.

I guess I don't understand the reason for leaving Bobby because you were given a chance to start fresh here. However, by posting as though English were a foreign language to you despite the evidence that you speak (or at least write) in English as good as anyone here, you seemed to voluntarily choose NOT to start fresh. And I don't see where a change of surroundings (or forums) is going to make a difference if you choose to present a fake identity, unless its that they won't realize over there that its fake.

I've stayed silent through the sorrys and the weclome backs, but I guess it's my turn to chime in. 'shoveler has told me a lot about the old Bobby_P, and it was all good. Somewhere in the middle of the road, I guess there was a large pothole and you fell in it and haven't found anybody to tow you out. May you have success in whatever you decide to do.

Yea, my checkspeller broked.

Seriously, Bobby I could type 1000 lines worth of observations and thoughts and part of me really wants to do so. The problem is, the caring parts wouldn't be taken seriously and the not so caring parts aren't worth the time it would take.

I hope you really do move on down the road but I'm afraid we're just staging for more of the same from you. I hope not, Jr. High was over for me years and years ago and the senseless, alias names and childish games you have you been playing on caring people of this forum have grown old and tiresome. If we're going to part ways, for real, then let it be so and don't put the nice members of this forum through more of your games, they don't deserve it, no one does.

Chris, Rob, Dave and myself have seriously given you the opportunity to come back and be an active part of the forum, I am really sorry you have chosen to make a mochery out of our gesture. It doesn't hurt us Bobby, it hurts the abiltiy to ever do it again. I know of no more "forgive and forget" type people than us four but doing it again someday, for you, is highly unlikey.

Between you and I, I don't buy your act for a minute but was willing to overlook it to have you back, in hopes that as time went by it would go away and we could once again have you as part of the forum and once again enjoy each other. We have tried being serious and we have tried being humorous, the point is we tried. You didn't. I would say shame on us for allowing this to happen again but I won't, we did the right thing in hopes of a positive outcome.

Good luck to you, wherever you land.
