Well I've been looking at what the forecast is calling for this weekend. Now being Christmas and all I thought it would be nice to see who's getting what weather. So far the weather looks like rain and snow on Friday and Saturday and rain on Sunday and Monday. I really hate rain for Christmas, but it's still relativey early in the week so I hope the forecast changes and we get more snow then rain.

What are your weather forecasts telling you?

We are going to get some rain changing over to light snow...hope the rain does not freeze, it makes driving out of town hell! Temps have been in the single digits (even below zero) and suppose to warm up for Thursday and Friday.

Looks like we are going to have a white xmas. Over 16 inches on the ground now, and calling for snow flurries almost every day, with temperatures around freezing, so it will be mild as well.

Today they predicted snow flurries, and now they changed it to "snow flurries, at times heavy" and we might get 4 inches of snow flurries before they stop tonight, and the temperature drops. Gorgeous huge flakes coming down for some time. Have to go out and shovel when it stops. Made the roads greasy tonight and it took an hour and a half to get home tonght.

I am still not possitive of what our weather will be on christmas day. However, seing how things have been this month and how things have recently warmed up! Were talking the 50's here! I just don't see it possible to snow this christmas unless a miracle happens!

We are expecting rain and snow mix on Saturday changing to just snow on Sunday... Yea! Who needs freezing rain for Christmas. It's the first time in December that the temperatures have gone above freezing!

Well after it is all said and done - we had clouds, fog and an extreme brief peek of sun. I guess all that is better then rain, but I would have liked snow.

Well, our long range forcast held true, sunny and 55-60 degrees with a cold North wind. It felt about 40-45 degress. Since we couldn't have snow, I couldn't have ordered a better day!

Oh the weather outside is frightful and Kris does not find it delightful but since he has no place to go.. let it RAIN, let it RAIN, let it RAIN. I don't think it is going to be a snowy year for L.I. :( - Kris :)

We had a grey and foggy Christmas, and by now much of the snow that was on the ground has melted and there are patches of grass showing through. I found 2 frozen rabbits in the back yard which were covered by the snow until now. Good ridden's to bad bunnies, they have eaten most of the new plants that I put in this year!

Sorry Kris, despite all the long range forecasts that said we were going to get hammered....

It seems the purchase of such an item by me (to be prepared), only feeds into and works with the Murphy's law.
I buy a new Toro, and no snow.
So I ruined the white xmas this year. At best we'll now probably have to just push slush around.

I apologize to all on LI for messing with the forecast that said we'd get 80 - 100" this season.
