I finally got the batteries charged to the camera (still have to figure out how to change the date ) so here are a couple of pictures of Reba and Brutus (Brutus is on the left, Reba on the right).

They look like a couple of sweethearts.

I'm glad your kids came to their senses about the cable. Who needs to watch another CSI rerun anyway?

The second pic shows how there is love in the air, makes me want to refrain a song. Here it goes...

And can you feel the love tonight
It is where we are
It's enough for this wide-eyed wanderer
That we got this far
And can you feel the love tonight
How it's laid to rest
It's enough to make kings and vagabonds
Believe the very best

They look so happy together. It'a good that you got a couple of pooches that are so happy with one another!

They have their moments. They had just finished playing outside. Reba tackles poor Brutus in the snow and he usually winds up doing a header into the snow...comes up with a face full.

The first pic reminds me of an old married couple.

That depends on what he's had for dinner.

Do you ever dress them up in the kids old clothes and make them beg for treats?
We like too put a sock over our cats head and watch her run around the living room. :D

You should take the camera outside and take pictures of them playing in the snow. I'd love to see his face all full of snow. When Taz comes inside from the snow he usually has a mound of snow on top of his nose. He loves running in the snow scooping it up and eating it and the result is the mound of snow on the nose. Looks too funny. But at least if he eats snow he won't gain any weight. Maybe there's something to it. Should I be eating snow instead of candy? If I decide to go this way, I'll make sure the snow isn't yellow.

I had thought about that after I had come back in from taking them out. I will try to remember next time I'm taking them out during daylight hours. They are fun to watch. Brutus runs like a puppy...very uncoordinated, probably because he didn't have much opportunity to run, but I love watching him...he kind of hops...

I will get some pics today if I have the time. It's been crazy here since it snowed and it's funny how everyone wants their snowblowers yesterday. :?

Of course they do!

It was funny because I was driving home yesterday and heard the radio DJ talking about "when are they going to have my snowblower fixed?...my back is killing me from shoveling!"...and I rolled my eyes and thought:

1. If you would've serviced it BEFORE the season, you wouldn't have that problem!
2. Did you put stabilizer in it before you put it away LAST winter?
3. What kind of blower do you have?

What have you folks done to me?! I would have sympathized with the guy before! (I knew this was some kind of aliens taking over the world/bodysnatcher, one person at a time, forum...)

I will sympathize with some of the elderly people around. They aren't as able to get there blowers (or other equip) around that easily. They call on a neighbor or child and ask for help and they say in a few days. Well that never happens and they call us in the middle of a blinding snow storm.
You should have called that radio DJ and asked him those questions and see what kind of response you woyuld have gotten being a woman. Call the DJ and say, "My name is _____, I work at ________, and I heard you whining about your snowblower," and then start rambling on about how he and all the listeners should be looking after their OPE equipment and tell him he should be ashamed of himself. See how far you get with that and left me know. I e-mailed some tips to a local radio station and he aired them and thought it was strange that a woman e-mailed them to him - go figure.

I asked Taz a little bit ago if he wanted to go out and play in the snow...he opened one eye looked at me and went back to sleep. So I guess there'll be no playful pictures today.

He is more human then anyone I know. He is wise well beyond his years. But today he's been on the wrong side of the door everytime it has shut. If he's out, he wants in, if he's in, he wants out. Great for the exercise routine. The last picture was the, "I let you take my picture, now give me my snack!"
If I'm not paying attention to him and he wants a snack, he'll either kick me or if my face is close enough, he'll give me his version of a puppy kiss. A puppy kiss consists of a cold nose hitting the side of your head quickly and the kick consists of him raking his long claws down your clean pant leg. :? But I would rather wash the paw marks off my pant legs then not to have Taz :!:

PS - Had to do it, the voices in my head are starting to take over. It's time for me to go to my pretty padded room now...
