help dating my snowblower

As many of you know I have an older yardman snowbird snow blower.

I emailed yardman and they told me it was a 1980 . based on these numbers off the machine. 31600-0 H109B and another sticker with 21-008-1436.

can anybody confirm this?

I have no intension of dating a piece of OPE :shock:

And I wont be having a funeral for this machine anytime soon! at least I hope not

Its at least 20-25 years old and still going. Its a heavy built machine not at all like the green and yellow MTD built units.
