I did a quick search and couldn't find a definitive instruction guide for the computer illiterate. Could someone please explain how to insert pictures in the text of our subjects? I keep pictures on photobucket and the links only came through when tried posting on a subject earlier. Thanks for your help.

Go to Photobucket and to the left of your pics you will see Url, Tag, Img. Highlite Img and copy, then go to your post and right click where you want to post the pic, and select paste.

You can also copy the pictures URL and put the IMG tags around it yourself by clicking on the IMG icon above where you type your post. The address will start with "http" and end with ".jpg", ".gif", etc.
Example:
[ img]http://www.opeonthenet.com/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif[/img ]
(I put in an extra "space" in the IMG tags to make it not work.)

Termy;
Kitty is an indoor outdoor cat, and about a year ago I heard these cats outside crying, when I went outside heres kitty and this black and white cat who is a bully squaring off.
The other cat chased kitty around a truck and up the walk way beside the house, thats where he slipped and ran into the stucco wall nose first.
I felt so sorry for the little bugger. About a year and a half ago he got into a fight with the same cat and hurt one of his hind legs and was limping for a little over a week.
It was funny in a way because I would go outside with him so no cat or human would mess with him because he couldn't run, just hobble.
Oh and kitty is a he... :wink:

OK, I attempted to post a picture with the instructions Marshall and Cajunblu suggested and they worked great. Well sort of. No matter how small I made the original picture at the source prior to adding it into photobucket, the image on OPE transfered was enormous and took up the entire page. Any hints how to fix this. Thank you for you patience and help.

In photobucket you can edit your picture, (using the edit button) and scroll down to the resize. Choose the size that you like and submit...I think.

Exactly Sherri...I think the choices are in 25% increments, e.g. 50%, 75%, etc. Realize, however, that that will permanently change the size of the photo you have stored in photobucket, but doesn't affect the size you have stored on your 'puter.

NOTE: Please sise your pics to 800 * 600 or lower before you upload them to photobucket. :wink: Or you could use photobucket to sise them down but if you use that it will be permanent. :shock:
