Hi Gang. I've had an AOL connectivity problem for a few weeks and am just catching up with things on here. Last year we had a pic thread that had some real nice shots of members snow removal equpiment in action so I thought i'd get one going.
We had about 9" here on Friday morning and it wasn't until I finished my place that I thought about some pics. My wife took these while I was doing my neighbors drive way with the old JD 726.

I figured I better give the old Simplicity 12.5 LTH a little quality time, so I took that out for some trim work.

The Conquest is parked for the winter, but I was checking with the dealer on a blower for that. For $1200 I can get a 46" single stage blower, wheel weights and chains. I thought that seemd like a fair price. Maybe down the road.
C'mon guys, lets gets some action shots.
Thanks Kevin

Gotta love the Conquest! No deck, snowplow, chains, does it get much better?

Hi Marshall. Thats my 1990 12.5 LTH with the blade attachted in the pic. Still running good. I wasn't able to connect to the web from AOL for about 2 1/2 weeks, but checked in on the site from work. I think a blower on the front of the Conquest would speed up the chores a little quicker. Ya think? LOL

Well of course, I have no idea how you have done without one for so long. I think since you've shown so much self control and financial consideration, your wife should have no problem with Santa bringing you one.

Kevin- I think your thread is a nice idea but alittle premature for most of us. We ( at least here on L.I.) have not had a big enough storm this year to warrent the use of our machines and hence have no "in use" pics yet. I don't have any from last year either. When I finally get a chance to use the machines I will snap ( and post) some shots. Your JD looks to be in nice shape by the way . - Kris :D

:D :D Kevin,
Watch on Ebay for a blower for your tractor!!
I've seen then there and go for $200 to 500.

When I figure out how to take pictures of myself running the machine, I will.
Thus far my wife has expressed a strong desire not to leave the house at 0 dark thirty to stand up to here knees in snow and take a picture.....
We do have one "after" photo....

Thats the only problem. The Conquest was my Christmas, birthday, anniversary, etc. present. LOL
Kris, This will be the 3rd winter for the JD 726. I bought it used and it's done a good job so far. I've had a few problems with it, but with help from the people on this forum and forums past, I solved them. That help has always been very much appreciated.
Fred, I was on E-bay last night looking around. I'm no stranger to E-bay. Just ask my wife.
Garandman, nice looking group there. Kids playing in the snow pics are always fun. My sons are 20 and 17 yrs. old now. Enjoy them while they are young. They do grow up fast.

Nice picture with the little ones Garandman.![]()
Got hit with a good storm there.
Starting to look like a the major snow is going to bypass us, like it has for the last three winters. ![]()
May not have any snow events worth taking a picture of. Snowblower was a good investment for those who didn't want to see snow around here.

Two threats of snow and nothing but a dusting and ice and slush here.
Nice action shots..
Garandman, I have the same problem as you. I don't think I can get any of the girls out to brave the cold to take an action shot.
But, good family photo!

Garand,
I'm assuming that you are standing on your clean sidewalk taking the picture. It's interesting that all the neighbors have snowy sidewalks and little piles, and yours is clean with a mountain out front... Gotta love it! 8)

I cleared the sidewalks for everything you can see and more besides. This picture is a few years old: I don't have any from the big storm we got last year. The huge piles come from the snow on the street, and the cars. In the city there's just no place to put the snow.

No action photos developed from the last storm, but here are pictures of the reason I was able to convince my fiance we needed a snowblower this year. [http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c123/nclayton29/Blizzard05.jpg]
My jeep can make it to our little barn, but it was nice snowblowing a path up there this year.... [http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c123/nclayton29/CantstopBijou.jpg][/img]

No action pics from my neck of LI either, but as soon as I get some good snow I'll take some pics... maybe video too.
Til then, I've done a little something to my avatar... hee hee.
I like it.

well it was a cool avatar, until Ripway's band limit was exceeded...
oops.. didn't realize my avatar wound up being 4MBs.
I'll have to go back to my old one I guess. Bummer

Here are some pictures of an Ariens ST926DLE purchased in 2004...it's in the shop for repair, so we thought we'd take some pics of the beast in action...

Nice action shots ! Sherri. So why is that 926 in the shop ? What's wrong with it ? Seems kinda new to be in the shop. - Kris :D

It broke an tensioner spring on an idler pulley that helps keeps the belt tight. The result was it wouldn't "drive" itself. ('shoveler is more eloquent then I am when it comes to describing these things. :o )

Thanks for the pics.
Looks like Snowshoveler is on a make work project. Blow the snow one way to create a path and then blow it back to fill in the path just cleared. :)
