a friend of mine bought the 1130 xp husky with all the bells and whistles.
we couldnt get it in his minivan so i said i would deliver it no problem.
after work i took it to his place .
wow they had a lot more snow than we do.
we had 6 inches of slush and they got over a foot before it turned to rain .then it got cold
needless to say its very crusty.
anyway im driving a 4x4 so i go right in his driveway and unload it.
he isnt home yet so i figgure i might as well do his driveway a bit.
well i was very impressed ,those huskys work as good as a snapper i think.now if thay last as long then they are a good machine.
i did his whole driveway before he got home.
so i went home ,called him when i got home and he was very happy that i left him a little snow to play in.
he cant shovel snow much ,he just got out of the hospital.(some hernia problem ) so i was quite happy to help out and liked using a new husky to.

What a guy. You not only deliver, but you cleared the driveway too. Good thing the guy didn't get miffed because you used his virgin machine. The Huskys are on my short list, but I'm not quite in the market for a new machine yet. Chris, I'd appreciate any updates you can give on how these units are performing and holding up.
Thanks, Kevin

i found myself stopping and looking at the controls a lot.
i use so many different ones that i cant remember them all.
i wouldnt expect that to be a problem forw an owner though.

That's great to know a Husky performs well. I thought the controls were a bit on the tight or heavy side, but I've always liked them. I agree, it should be interesting to see how they hold up over time.

Great service... just don't let the story get around too much , or you'll be spending too much time "delivering" blowers !
I'd be the same way, too much of a temptation to give it a whirl.
And if I was your friend, I would have felt you took my fun away !!
Really, good to hear a 1st hand report.
Are there different levels of the Husy's like with the Ariens?
Lowes is the only one around here that I know of selling them.
We all know the story of HD and Ariens, just wondering if the same thing is going on at Lowes or not.

 Ramit,
The 10.5, 927, and 1130 series are about 99% the same except for engines.
10.5's are in Lowes
I checked parts on the above series, and found very, very, little difference between them!
