I went outr again tonight to blow at 4:30 a.m. when the plows finally went by. I bogged down on the 1.5-2' high heavy stuff. I got the hockey stick out to clear the clog, and was just hugely disappointed. I did notice earlier tonight I wasn throwin as far as last year, Or so I thought. Anyways, I went back in the garage and adjusted the linkage about 5 full nut turns, and went back out. I sliced through the 2' EOD like butter, even in 5th gear. Dooohhh!!!! I wasnt runnin' at fiull speed on my throw belt, I feel so stupid!!! I coulda been done soo much sooner easlier in the night. Thoise belts stretch boys, tighten up if ya hadnt recently!!!

Bill, you were up too early to be thinking clearly. Thanks for the heads up.

I really didnt know what else to think. I knew somethin had to be wrong, but the belt wasnt squeekin as one would think it would if it were loose, and I pulled the cover plate and it seemed taught, but apparently wasnt enough. I recalled someone tellin me a while back they would stretch a little bit, especially after a few minutes of heavy use as the heat up and stretch, and low and behold it worked. Just about 5 full turns on the linkage adjustment, made about a 75% increaase/difference in throwing performance. Again I feel soo stupid for not figuring it out immediately on my initial outing. But thanks for the excuse that it was to early to be thinking clearly Rob, I like it!!! :D I was about 3 hours of sleep, and a quart low of coffee to handle such a task.
