we have been advised by our supplier that in january they will have 6 different sizes of machines for sale.
not much info at this time but we do know they are all track drive and have a very neat and also patented track disconnect.this will enable the user to move it around as easy as a wheeled machine (i like this )
they will of course have their own engines.
i asked about hydro trans but no info yet.
the salesman said that they are ...can you beleive it better than a honda.
i have a little trouble with that one but hey anything is possible.
and the price is also supposed to be favorable ,whatever that means.

Interesting that they want to market tracks-only machines. Maybe they don't want to pit themselves directly against HATS in the wheeled market. Hard to imagine they could be better than a Honda but if the price is nice and the quality is better than the alternative Craftsman tracked blower, maybe they can carve out a niche for themselves.

With all the people that seem interested in track drive units, and only 1 real quality track unit available, If mitsu has a good price and build, they could do well.

But who will sell and service? Mitsubishi cars have been on rocky ground in my neck of the woods.Dealers closing and such. ANd I couldnt name a Mitsubidhi OPE dealer to save my life.

Hi Guys!
I for one would welcome the addition of another "quality" ope manufacturer. Between the consolidation of many old known brands under the MTD umbrella and the purchase of other quality brands by Briggs, Mitsu entering the market can only be a good thing for the consumer. Maybe it will cause Honda to lower their outrageously high prices :P .

Cool, I see it a good thing. They already manufacture for OPE companies and make quality stuff. Thanks Chris!

mitsu builds good stuff at good prices. price a mitsu generator vs a honda,
the mitsu can be bought for 40 - 50 % less than a honda.
would be nice to see the same in snowblowers.

That's good info, I really hope they do come up with a line of tracked blowers. Since Yamaha has left the scene, Honda has had the track market all wrapped up, it's about time they got a little competition.

Sounds like my cup of tea. Any idea of who it may be distributed by? If the price point is right, I'd buy one.

distributer will be ESF out of Quebec...we deal with them now and sell the mitsubishi gensets.so we will probably sell there blowers,if we like them
we really like there product so far.
they like to stay competive.
hopefully we can get a couple and see what they are like in person.
any shops selling the gensets should be able to get the blowers when they come in.

ps ..we will post pics and such when we get some
