Oh Shoveler! Trying to cause me grief before I leave for the day... :x :x

Careful you don't wind up the next course on the rotating spit...

And I thought when Walt was up, he was up? And when he was down, he was really down? I can't imagine being down bringing him up, thats for sure...

So Shoveler....got any red cowboy boots?

P.S. Walt...Shoveler started it... :P :P

Yeah, It's like when one is talking in the Hood... When I'm down I'm up, and when I'm up I'm down... and when the blood pressure was up, I was real down, although that was only a short term byproduct of the situation.

Modern medicine brought everything down, so I could get up.

Although I didn't get any red slippers, the did give me some navy blue ones with smiley faces on them.

I guess one of the most awkward situation was when the nurse was holding my arm so I could expend fluid for her to measure, and after having my abdomen cut up things took a while to get moving.

Hence, after about a minute or so, I had to turn to her and say "Don't worry, this isn't a case of stage fright or anything, it's purely a resultant of having my insides scrambled and the fluid is just trying to find the front door". She seemed cool with that...

Maybe if we did have snow I could have shown her how well I can write my name! 8)

Thanks for asking Chris.

Things seem to be getting back to normal. The Doctor said that the pain I had could have been either fluid, or some internal bleeding from some of the sutures tearing. They aren't concerned, and basically said that it may take up to 6 months to fully recover, but "call if it happens again."

I appreciate your concern.

I think that those things that Will has on his plate are the truly serious things, as his are critical in nature. It's very important that we keep him in our thoughts and prayers.

(Not that each of us couldn't use prayers for one aspect or another in our lives, but Will has been given a very big cross to carry right now)

Walt

I AM NOT buying you any red boots. If you want to frolic, buy your own red boots, but leave me a note to tell me you're gone... :P

I was starting to think you got horribly busy or stuck in a snowbank somewhere...
Yes that might just work...
Do you think I'll be able to find a pair of red mens boots? Or should I just take the easy way out and buy a can of spray paint? The spray paint is probably cheaper, so that's the route I'll take  Now I have to see if I can get him in these red boots....

Sherri,

You could get him some red leather boots and a white leather jumpsuit with a big red maple leaf on the back so he could wear it in the tractor races.
