:) I bought a used Super Tomahawk Chipper/shredder last week. I was unable to use it right away because the belt had broke. I had a devil of a time finding some one that still had a 5L280 belt in stock. Well I found a belt and installed it a simple thing to do. I made mulch out of pople limbs, some very nice mulch in my eyes as it is very fine stuff so will compact to keep weeds at bay.
Well My Kare said that she wouldn't put that stuff around her flowers. (1. Just to fine and will break down fast she said.
(2. afraid it would get to close to her plants and smother them.
Well that just leaves so much more for my use arounf the shrubs and all around my bee hives to keep the weeds at bay with out spray.
The new Troy builts are just useing the old companies name right????? :?:
Sure look cheap compared to the one I have. The recipt was in the owners manul and the date is July 1986.
